Leeds United are at the top of the Championship table at the moment, while Wigan Athletic are currently eighth in the standings.

Leeds are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are one of the early season favourites to get promoted to the Premier League.
The West Yorkshire outfit are at the top of the league table at the moment with 18 points from eight matches, a point clear of second-placed Middlesbrough.
Wigan chairman Sharpe has praised Championship rivals Leeds, but he has underlined the fact that it is still quite early in the season.
Sharpe told Sky Sports about Leeds: “I have watched them a few times obviously on TV, and they blow teams away.
“But it’s early days. I think time will tell. December, January we will see how they do then when the fixtures are coming in thick and fast.”

Going strong
As Sharpe says, it is quite early in the season, but that does not mean that Leeds fans should not feel confident.
The West Yorkshire outfit are playing well at the moment and are winning matches, and some of their performances have been superb.
What Leeds need is to maintain the consistency they are showing at the moment and perhaps add to the squad in the January transfer window.
