Aston Villa are one of several clubs credited with interest in Caulker.

Wigan Athletic appear to have made the first move in the race to sign the Aston Villa linked centre back, Steven Caulker.
Villa are one of several clubs credited with interest in Caulker, who is available on a free transfer after leaving Dundee last month.
But Wigan Today reports that Caulker is ‘understood to be’ training with the Latics in the hope of earning a contract at the DW Stadium.
The Aston Villa manager, Steve Bruce, is believed to be on the lookout for new recruits in Caulker’s position, having failed to replace John Terry after his release at the end of last season.

And the former Villa and West Ham United centre back, James Collins, is another name being associated with the Midlands club (Birmingham Live).
Should he impress at Wigan, Caulker could team up with Bruce’s son, Alex, at the heart of the Latics’ defence.
Should Aston Villa act following Wigan’s alleged Caulker approach?
