The Liverpool star won’t be representing his country at the Copa America.

In quite a bizarre move, Liverpool’s Fabinho has been omitted for Brazil’s Copa America squad.
Selecao boss Tite named a number of Premier League stars in his 23-man selection, but the Liverpool midfielder was not among them.
The former Monaco man endured a difficult few months at Anfield after joining for £43.7 million [Sky Sports] last summer, but he has been exceptional for most of 2019.
Fabinho has helped Jurgen Klopp’s side to a second successive Champions League final, and was one of their many warriors in the stunning 4-0 win over Barcelona earlier this month.
Nevertheless, Tite clearly feels that he has better options, and the 25-year-old’s wife, Rebeca Tavares, has cryptically hinted that she’s puzzled by the snub after posting something on Twitter on Friday, after the squad was announced.
Many Liverpool fans might be making the same gesture, but in real life.
A lot of Reds supporters might have been looking forward to seeing their boy impress on the international stage, but his Brazilian team-mates Roberto Firmino and Alisson did make the squad.
Brazil, the host nation, kick off the tournament on June 14 with a visit of Bolivia in Sao Paulo.
