West Ham United should make sure that they sign Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

The Sun claim that Arsenal have made Jack Wilshere available for just £9 million, and at that price West Ham United should make a bid.

West Ham have had their eye on Wilshere for a considerable amount of time, with Slaven Bilic telling Football.London about his admiration for the England international last season.

Wilshere was considered as one of the brightest talents in the country at one stage, but injuries have blighted his career.

And Arsenal are now letting the midfielder leave at a cut price, as Arsene Wenger looks to trim his squad.

West Ham should now offer Wilshere a new start, as he could be a revelation at the London Stadium.

The risk with signing Wilshere is obviously his unreliable fitness levels, but for £9 million it is a gamble worth taking.

The transfer market is highly inflated, and Wilshere looks to be a potential bargain buy.

If West Ham could restore Wilshere back to his best, he would be a considerable upgrade on Slaven Bilic’s current options and could be a real star at the London Stadium.

And, even if the move didn’t work out, West Ham would not risk losing too much money on snapping up the central midfielder.

As a result, the upside of any deal outweighs the negatives, and West Ham should offer Wilshere the chance to revive his career.
