West Ham United are believed to be looking to sign a new striker.

France's Olivier Giroud

According to the Daily Mirror, Olivier Giroud is fed up of being a bit-part player at Arsenal, and will push for a move this summer.

Giroud has been used sparingly be Arsenal this season, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott ahead of him in the pecking order.

The French striker has often been utilised as an impact substitute, but he now reportedly wants a starting role.

And West Ham United could be the perfect club for Giroud to show Arsenal exactly what they are missing.

West Ham are known to be on the look out for a new striker, and Giroud would surely add quality to their front line.

The French international may have his doubters at the Emirates Stadium, but his scoring record has always been very impressive.

Giroud has never failed to score fewer than 10 goals in a Premier League season, since he moved to Arsenal back in 2012.

Indeed, the 30-year-old has netted 95 goals in 217 appearances for Arsenal – which gives him a scoring record which is the envy of many strikers across Europe.

If West Ham could bring Giroud to the London Stadium, he would surely improve the quality of their attacking options, and it would also be statement of their ambition, with Slaven Bilic desperate to improve his squad ahead of next campaign.
