West Ham United star Manuel Lanzini has been linked with a move to European giants Barcelona.

The Hammers have endured a nightmare start to the new Premier League season losing their first three games to prop up the table.
Supporters have also had to listen to speculation that their star player Lanzini could be set for a move to Barcelona after recently breaking into the Argentina squad, as reported by the likes of The Sun.
Barca have been heavily linked with Philippe Coutinho and Pablo Dybala to fill the boots of Neymar after his world record move to Paris St Germain.
But with neither move looking likely, some Hammers supporters were concerned Lanzini would be next on the Spanish giants’ hit list.

With the close of the window last night, there may have been widespread relief that West Ham had held on to the former River Plate star.
But with millions burning a hole in Barca’s pockets and an expectant fan base, those rumours will persist for another 24 hours at least.
That’s because the Spanish transfer deadline window doesn’t close until Friday night meaning Barcelona are still free to recruit.

West Ham had been linked with a move for Barca’s Andre Gomes, a dangerous move given the Catalonian’s reported interest in their star man.
That did not come to fruition for the Slaven Bilic, though, leaving the club’s fans hugely disappointed.
