Gutman and Perez signed for Celtic in the January transfer window.

Andrew Gutman and Manny Perez were spotted in Glasgow together ahead of Celtic’s pre-season training camp.
The pair have been on-loan with American sides Charlotte Independence and North Carolina FC, respectively, since their January moves to Celtic.

But the latter club have already confirmed that Perez will join with his Bhoys colleagues in Austria, before returning Stateside early next month (NCFC official site).
And it’s, presumably, a similar situation for Gutman, despite his temporary employers having yet to address his sighting at Celtic training last week.
It remains to be seen whether either player’s loan spell can be terminated before it is due to expire at the end of 2019.
Although the new Celtic manager, Neil Lennon, will be especially keen to see what Gutman and Perez can do, amid some of the confirmed and potential outgoings at Parkhead.

The Bhoys left-back, Kieran Tierney, is said to have been the subject of a bid from Arsenal this past week, while a trio of senior right-backs, Mikael Lustig, Cristian Gamboa and Jeremy Toljan, have left since the end of last season.
And Tierney’s exit could – as those of Lustig, Gamboa and Toljan should for Perez – create a first-team pathway for Gutman upon his eventual return.
