However, it doesn’t seem like Wade’s sons have managed to carry forward his legacy in the league. In fact, his eldest son, Zaire Wade, recently found himself in trouble and was reportedly arrested.
Zaire Wade booked on three criminal charges
According to a bombshell report from TMZ, Zaire has been arrested for felony domestic violence in Burbank.
“Zaire Wade, the NBA Hall of Famer’s eldest child, was arrested and booked by the Burbank Police Department on Sunday,” TMZ revealed.
The report added, “He was booked on three charges: felony domestic violence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment, and an emergency protective order has been issued.”
It’s a bad look for the Hall of Famer’s child, as more details about the arrest were revealed by TMZ in the report.
Burbank police found Zaire Wade with a woman at 5:30 AM
As TMZ’s report continued, it unveiled details about the alleged brutal crime that Zaire had committed against a woman.
“Burbank police were called to a home around 5:30 AM on Sunday after receiving a call about a woman screaming.
“When officers showed up, the outlet reports they found Zaire and a woman with lacerations on her face and body,” TMZ continued.
Despite the injuries, the unidentified woman wasn’t taken to a hospital. Wade was arrested, but he was later released after posting a $50K bond.
