Trevon Diggs believes his move to the Green Bay Packers has given him the reset he needed as he looks to prove himself again after leaving the Dallas Cowboys.

The two-time Pro Bowler and former All-Pro Trevon Diggs was claimed by Green Bay after being waived by the Dallas Cowboys late in the season.

Now, Diggs is hoping to put a difficult injury spell behind him and rebuild both his game and his mindset in new surroundings.

Trevon Diggs is ready for a fresh start with Green Bay Packers

Trevon Diggs spoke to ESPN after his recent move to the Green Bay Packers. The former Dallas Cowboys star admitted he was embracing a fresh start.

For Diggs, this move to the Packers isn’t necessarily about winning trophies. It’s about embracing the best version of himself, on and off the field.

“It feels good, you know? I want to be comfortable with being uncomfortable, being somewhere that I’ve never been before.

“Just starting over, starting fresh, a clean slate, and just working, and keeping my head down, and just working. I think I just need to be myself, you know? Be who I know I am.

“Go out there and perform, and everything will take care of itself. I’m not chasing accolades. I’m not chasing anything. I’m chasing being a better me, being better every day … helping this team win.”

Micah Parsons encourages Trevon Diggs ahead of Packers debut

Trevon Diggs said former Dallas Cowboys teammate Micah Parsons, now also with Green Bay, helped him prepare for the move.

“He told me, you know, it’s work. It’s a lot different. He said I’m going to like it a lot and I’m going to enjoy it.

“So far, I’ve been enjoying it a lot. My first day was out there today, and I had a lot of fun. It’s a great, great thing to be here.”

For Diggs, who once led the NFL with 11 interceptions in 2021, Green Bay offers a chance to start again — and perhaps make one final push to re-establish himself among the league’s top cornerbacks.

His focus now is simple: to get healthy, stay grounded, and prove he can still make a difference at the highest level.
