However, history suggests that Tottenham supporters should brace themselves for a quiet transfer window as Pochettino very rarely enters the market in the New Year.
The Argentine has only signed two players in his five January windows since arriving in the Premier League, of whom Dele Alli returned on loan to Milton Keynes Dons in 2015.

Pochettino is very particular when it comes to signing players, especially when big money is involved, so it would be surprising for him to enter the crazy January market this year.
