Tom Brady revealed his first-ever one-of-one trading card during Fanatics Fest 2026.
It’s been more than three years since Tom Brady retired from the NFL, but the 7x SB champion is still connected to the league.
How? Well, he’s a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Yes, the same team that drafted Fernando Mendoza using the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Tom Brady purchases Fernando Mendoza’s trading card
Many expect Brady to step up as a mentor for Mendoza as both players share the same position on the field. Moreover, it feels like Brady has already become a fan of the rookie QB.
After all, Brady revealed that he has purchased Mendoza’s one-of-one rookie autographed card during an appearance at Fanatics Fest NYC 2026.
“There’s a Fernando Mendoza card that came out that I sent you, and I said, ‘I need this.’ I found it, and I got it, my first NFL auto one-of-one.
“I know how hard he works; he’s got a great family, and he’s coming to a great environment for success, so I figured I’ve got to invest in it,” Brady said of Mendoza.
He added, “And you know what, the card was not easy to find. I know there’s a lot of negotiations that went back and forth for quite a bit. Ended up paying a very hefty price.”
While Brady didn’t reveal the exact price tag of the card, it’s likely to be near $100,000. But it didn’t matter to the NFL legend as he is already a huge fan of the Raiders’ rookie.
