Tottenham Hotspur have a very exciting and effective player in their ranks.

Tottenham's Son Heung-min scores their second goal

Heung-min Son is currently enjoying a superb run of form for Tottenham Hotspur, proving exactly why Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino wanted him in the first place.

Seasoned Bundesliga observers never doubted Son’s quality; and even in what was widely regarded to be a disappointing debut campaign the South Korea international still managed eight goals and four assists shortly after arriving at White Hart Lane.

This season he has kicked on, taking the goal-scoring burden in emphatic fashion and netting four times in just three Premier League appearances; so it came as something of a surprise that a report from the Express earlier this month suggested Son was set for a return to Germany.

The report stated that Son was angry to have been substituted in Tottenham’s Champions League clash against AS Monaco; so much so that he wanted out.

It was crazy considering that only a few days earlier Son had scored a brace against Stoke City…and after doing the same against Middlesbrough it looks downright absurd.

Son is a quality player who simply needed time to settle at Tottenham, and now he has the fans are seeing what all the fuss was about when he first arrived from Bayer Leverkusen.

Son may have been tipped to leave in the summer, but let’s be thankful he did not, because he is a Premier League superstar in the making and any and all exit talk can be quickly quashed from now on.
