It has been a busy week at Leeds as Javi Gracia and Victor Orta both depart Elland Road with four games remaining.
Sam Allardyce has taken over – bringing Robbie Keane and Karl Robinson with him to Yorkshire – in what is one final throw of the dice for Leeds as they aim to stay in the Premier League.
The Athletic have now released a story going into detail about Gracia’s departure, in which it is revealed that some were left in tears.
What’s the story?
Well, it is said that Gracia and Orta both delivered speeches in front of the players and coaching staff at Leeds as they were preparing to leave.
The pair of Spaniards are said to have moved everybody in the room so much, that a few were sobbing as the speeches were read out.

It just goes to show how emotionally connected some at Elland Road are to Leeds.
It has been a difficult time of late for everybody associated with the Whites – to say the least – so it is no surprise to hear that emotions have spilled over into tears.
Leeds need a miracle
In our view, Leeds may look back at the recent fixtures against Bournemouth, Leicester, Fulham and Crystal Palace with a strong feeling of regret.
Those were four winnable games, and Leeds emerged from them with just a single point – it could have been three were it not for a shocking miss by Patrick Bamford against Leicester.
Now, Allardyce must try and pick up at least one win from a run of four games against Manchester City, Newcastle, West Ham and Tottenham, which is not an easy fixture list by any means.
It will take something special for Leeds to stay up, but with Allardyce at the helm, they have the most experienced manager out of anybody left in the relegation dogfight.
