The young Spaniard has been linked with a move to Leeds United but Norwich City are said to be seeking a permanent sale.
According to a recent report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United have made an offer to sign Norwich City winger Sergi Canos on loan with the option to sign him permanently in the summer, and while the Canaries are said to prefer a sale this month, could the player tip things in the Whites’ favour?
After all, if Canos makes it clear he would like to move to Leeds in what remains of the current transfer window, Norwich may be forced to grant his wish, and a quick look at the Whites’ progress under manager Garry Monk should make that a no-brainer for the young Spaniard.

Canos could sign for another Championship side in a permanent deal this month, or he could opt to move on loan to a Leeds side that looks good value to make it back to the Premier League come May.
If they do that, Canos will suddenly be back in the top flight, so there really should be some forward thinking in this regard.

Of course Norwich have the final say, but Canos can reject the advances of other clubs if he feels it would be detrimental to his career.

Assuming he wants to leave Carrow Road, the 19-year-old should push for a move to Leeds.
It would be a smart plan that could see him join a side that looks very much on the up and ultimately still earn Norwich the money they are seeking for the young talent.

The prospect of Canos on one wing and, alleged target Alfonso Pedraza (according to AS) on the other is tantalising to say the least.
