Queens Park Rangers boss Ian Holloway is keen to improve his attacking options at Loftus Road this season.

Queens Park Rangers should make a move for Sunderland winger Will Buckley this summer, as he has been told that he can leave the Stadium of Light (Chronicle).

Sunderland are unlikely to be looking for a big fee for Buckley, as he has struggled to break into the first-team in recent years.

And the forward could move to QPR with a point to prove, after a series of failed moves recently.

Buckley’s career has stalled ever since he left Brighton to join Sunderland, but he has previously been a real weapon at Championship level.

Buckley was a star at Brighton, and was one of the most feared attackers outside the top flight at one stage.

QPR boss Ian Holloway is a known admirer, after speaking highly of the wide-man back in 2012 (BBC Sport).

And if Holloway could get Buckley back to his best, then he could be a valuable addition for QPR, as they look to improve their attacking options for the upcoming campaign.
