Piers Morgan has said that he does not want Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to sign Kai Havertz from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The well-known TV presenter and celebrity Arsenal fan does not think that the Gunners should be signing players like Kai Havertz from Chelsea.

Morgan has said that the Germany international forward could not do well at Chelsea and has questioned why Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter this morning that Arsenal are hoping to get a deal done with Chelsea for £65 million and bring Havertz, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, to the club.

Chelsea forward Kai Havertz could flourish at Arsenal

While Piers Morgan does have a point about Kai Havertz not particularly doing well at Chelsea, we must not dismiss the potential that the Germany international has.

Martin Odegaard could not do much of note at Real Madrid either, and look at him now.

Under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Odegaard has grown and developed as a footballer and is now one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League.

We could see the same progress with Havertz as well at Arsenal.

Havertz is only 24 now, and we believe that he could flourish at the Gunners.

The forward has won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea and has shown on many occasions how good he can be.

If Arteta wants to sign Havertz, then Arsenal fans should be confident.
