Things have not gone perfectly for West Ham United since moving to the Olympic Stadium, but there is still time to turns things around.
As the song goes, nobody said it would be easy. The move from Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium was one that was questioned by many people, and so far – so not good. There’s been a clear feeling of trepidation among both fans and players, with the club itself having a poor start to the Premier League season.
Some feel that the distance between the pitch and the supporters diminishes the atmosphere, meanwhile others just think that it was a bad omen to switch stadiums at a point where West Ham were flourishing. Either way, there’s been plenty of critics who have suggested moving back to their old ground.

But that isn’t the answer. To put it simply, these things take time. There is no limit on when the ground is going to feel like home and that was always going to be the case. In order to adjust people need to give the stadium a chance, and this hostility and negativity is just doing the opposite.
The results will come in time and over the last few weeks things have already started to improve. Hammers fans need to take their fickle nature away from the situation and focus on getting behind their side, because sheer fan support is what can and will drive this to success.
