Some Leeds United fans on Twitter have urged head coach Marcelo Bielsa to give Crysencio Summerville a chance in the first team.

Summerville’s performance for the Leeds Under-23 side against their Reading counterparts at Thorp Arch on Monday impressed some Leeds fans.

The 19-year-old winger started the game slowly, but the talented and promising youngster burst into life towards the end of the first half.

The Dutchman put in a great ball from the right that Liam McCarron converted. The youngster worked hard for the team, showed some great dribbling sills and control of the ball, and was a joy to watch.

The Netherlands Under-21 international joined Leeds from Feyenoord in the summer of 2020, but he has yet to feature in the first team.

During his time at Feyenoord, Summerville had loan spells at FC Dordrecht and ADO Den Haag and he has experience of first-team football, and the winger could be a big player for the Whites in the coming years.
