Roma director of football, Gianluca Petrachi has opened up about his desire to work with Tottenham boss Antonio Conte.
There is no denying that such would be the case for virtually any and every individual in the world of football.
Conte is one of the best coaches in the world, and has been for over a decade.
The Italian boss first became a household name after kickstarting Juventus’ seemingly unstoppable era in Serie A.
After leaving the Bianconeri, the decorated manager joined Chelsea and managed to win the Premier League in his first season.
And that too, with his side collecting a staggering 93 points.
One of Antonio Conte’s most memorable spells remains at Inter Milan, where he masterminded the club’s first Serie A triumph since 2010.
And now at Tottenham, the revered tactician ensured the North Londoners secure Champions League football seemingly out of the blue last season.
While the 53-year-old is often slated for his pragmatic style of play and controversial opinions, his calibre as a coach remains unquestionable.
Roma chief admits he wants to work with Antonio Conte

As relayed by TuttoJuve24, Roma director of football, Gianluca Petrachi, who has signed the likes of Paulo Dybala and Tammy Abraham during his time at the club revealed that he would undoubtedly love to work with Antonio Conte.
“Antonio and I have two very strong characters, so why not? It would be interesting to see us work together”, he admitted.
Unlikely that Tottenham let Fabio Paratici leave
While it is admirable that Petrachi has not shied away from his aspiration to work alongside the Tottenham head honcho, it is key to remember that largely, Paratici has been a success since his arrival.
Also, Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici have years of experience working in tandem, both at Juventus and Tottenham.
As a result, it is likely that Gianluca Petrachi’s dream remains a dream, as Spurs are not expected to make any changes in terms of their current director of football role.
