Newcastle United are set to make Adam Armstrong available for loan, and Leeds United are looking for a striker.

According to a report in the Coventry Telegraph, Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong will be made available for loan yet again next season.
Armstrong is regarded as one of Newcastle’s brightest prospects, but Rafael Benitez does not see a place for the youngster in his starting line-up at St. James’ Park currently.
The 19-year-old has been out on loan at Barnsley this season, after spending last term with Coventry City on a temporary move.

And Newcastle are keen for Armstrong to continue his development elsewhere, with the North East club being keen to get their leading prospect as much first-team experience as possible.
Barnsley are said to be keen to snap Armstrong up again, but Leeds United should also consider making an offer.
Leeds have struggled to find competent competition for Chris Wood up-front this season, with Garry Monk’s side being particularly reliant on the New Zealand international.

Wood has scored 30 goals for Leeds this season, and while Armstrong simply cannot compete with those numbers, he would offer a different option for Monk’s side.
Wood’s strengths lie in his physical prowess, whereas Armstrong is happier to use his pace to get in behind defenders.
Armstrong scored six goals in the Championship this term, after being handed 21 starts for Barnsley.
And Leeds could enhance their attacking options by bringing Armstrong to Elland Road, with Newcastle seemingly making him available again.
