Real Madrid reportedly want Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager.

Real Madrid are arguably the biggest club in the world and have some of the best players on the planet, but that should still make Mauricio Pochettino think twice about leaving Tottenham Hotspur for the Spanish and European giants.
Managing and playing for Madrid is an honour and is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and while it would be very tempting for Pochettino, the Argentine would be making a risky move.

As reported by The Times, Los Blancos want the former Southampton boss as a replacement for the departed Zinedine Zidane, and the 46-year-old himself has been quoted as saying by the same publication: “When Real Madrid call you, you have to listen to them.”
Leaving Tottenham for Madrid now could turn out to be a very bad move for Pochettino.
Madrid have just won their third successive Champions League title, meaning that not making it four in a row next season would be deemed a failure.

Barcelona finished 17 points ahead of Los Blancos in La Liga this season, and it is going to be some task for any Madrid manager to close that gap.
Whichever way you look at it, Pochettino will find it extremely hard at Madrid in terms of getting results and achieving trophies.
Tottenham do not have that culture yet; the North London club would be happy with a top-four finish in the Premier League and being in the group stage of the Champions League for the time being.
