The Polish winger could be the perfect attacking foil for the Tigers’ new strike partnership.

Hull City’s strikers may be currently grabbing all the headlines, but the form and presence of winger Kamil Grosicki is just as important in their plans for the future.

28-year old Polish winger Grosicki, signed from Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais in January, has quietly established himself as a mainstay in the Tigers’ first team, providing an assist against Leicester, and generally impressing the Hull faithful with his attacking play and tenacity.

Though the flourishing partnership between Oumar Niasse and Abel Hernandez will be pleasing on the eye for Marco Silva and co, more exciting is Grosicki’s crossing ability and knack to find a killer pass.

In recent weeks the final ball has been evading him, but once settled fully into English football, he presents a problem for all Premier League defences.

Niasse and Hernandez’s height will play a key role in future tactics, and with Grosicki assisting them, they become a dangerous attacking prospect.

While there is much promise in Hull’s side, in particular in the flair of Lazar Markovic, what is needed in the battle to stay up is a reliable, dependable source of creativity, along with hard work. Though admittedly not at 100% right now, Grosicki has both in spades.
