It was always going to be a tough act for Williams to follow after Jennifer Hudson’s impressive national anthem rendition, but most were more confused about the decision to book him in the first place.
Dressed head to toe in a sequinned Adidas tracksuit, his song wasn’t the main talking point, as others wondered why he was selected.
