Oscar has been giving his best wishes to former club Internacional Porto Alegre.
Yesterday saw Chelsea unveil their new kits for the upcoming season – and the tagline #ForeverBlue was all over the web.
Instagram, Twitter, Facebook – you name it, the video unveiling of the new home kit and home goalkeeper strip was everywhere and a few select players were given the opportunity to be the models for the new strip.
One such player was Oscar.
The Brazilian, who has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain this week, helped with the marketing by posting a pic of himself in the new kit and adding in that tagline – #ForeverBlue.
But it would seem he will always be a little red as well.
The 4th of April 2014 represented the 105th birthday of Brazilian club Internacional Porto Alegre – the team Oscar arrived at Chelsea from.
Oscar played at the club for two years after a fall out at his previous club Sao Paolo – and made his international debut for Brazil whilst at the club.
Chelsea paid £19.35 million for the player – but money has not stripped his memories and loyalty to his old club.
He posted this on his official Instagram page last night…
Congratulations @scinternacionaloficial 105 years…
