The Swansea City player is ideal for Ronald Koeman’s Everton.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Everton are not the only club interested in signing Swansea City play-maker Gylfi Sigurdsson this summer, with Southampton joining Newcastle United and West Ham United in the race.
But the Toffees will kick themselves if they miss out on the Iceland international such is his ability to create something from nothing.
Everton are arguably the best placed club to convince Sigurdsson to make the move to Goodison Park, with Ronald Koeman’s men impressing this season and no doubt looking to challenge for a top-four finish in 12 months.
That will be easier said than done, yet with money to spend and a boss who plays the transfer market better than most, there is a possibility Everton could be next year’s surprise package.
As well as Everton have done this season, they need to add more creative guile to their squad and Sigurdsson has that in abundance.
It remains to be seen if the Toffees can keep hold of striker Romelu Lukaku but whether it is the big Belgian or another goal-scorer up top for Koeman’s team next season, Sigurdsson would make their life a whole lot easier.
The Icelandic star looks set to leave Swansea this summer and the prospect of seeing him anywhere other than Merseyside should spur Everton into action.
