Ronald Koeman is known to be looking for attacking additions at Everton this summer.
It was back in 2014 when Everton were first interested in Hatem Ben Arfa (Surrey Mirror), when his Newcastle United exit was inevitable.
Ben Arfa was on Everton’s wishlist three summers’ ago, but the attacking midfielder decided that a move back to his homeland was preferable.
It could be argued that Ben Arfa made the right choice, as a switch to Nice seemed to get the mercurial French international back to his best.
Ben Arfa enjoyed a brilliant campaign in 2015/16 and he was quickly snapped up by PSG.
However, his move to the capital club has not worked out as planned, with Ben Arfa now likely to leave in the summer (Chronicle).
And Ben Arfa should now come back on to Everton’s radar, as Ronald Koeman seeks attacking additions.
Koeman has suggested that Everton will be looking to increase their threat in the coming weeks, and Ben Arfa would help the Toffees in that regard.
Ben Arfa possesses wonderful dribbling ability, and is a potential match winner on his day.
And if Koeman could get Ben Arfa back to his best, he would be a highly exciting addition for Everton to make this summer.
