This was despite Bielsa taking the job just two days earlier, highlighting that he had begun his work long in advance.
With Leeds talks at an advanced stage, the meticulously organised Bielsa will already have an idea of what he wants to do at the club, who he should sign, and who he wants to keep.
To suddenly abandon that on a whim and jump into bed with Sporting does not make any sense when you look at how he works.
