Gary Neville has criticised Liverpool central defender Nathaniel Phillips on Sky Sports Premier League (8:25pm, May 13, 2021) for the goal that Manchester United scored in the 10th minute.

“I think Alisson would have saved that. Lack of composure from Nat Phillips. A disappointing moment for him, but a great moment for United.”
Phillips should have taken a better position, and the Liverpool defender also played United onside.
It was a moment of bad decision-making from the 24-year-old, but such things happen.
