Some Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Joshua King for Watford against Manchester United today.
What’s the story?
Former Everton striker King was in action for Watford against Manchester United at Vicarage Road today.
Claudio Ranieri’s side won 4-1.
The Red Devils had central defender Harry Maguire sent off in the 69th minute.
King scored for the Hornets in the 28th minute.
What are Everton fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Everton fans were stunned to see King score against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Well, some of them anyway.
The 29-year-old Norway international striker badly struggled when he was at Everton.
During his six-month spell at Goodison Park last season, King failed to score in 11 appearances.
The striker simply could not get enough chances under then Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti.
But now at Watford, the former Bournemouth striker is flying.
King scored a hat-trick against Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League last month.
The Watford no. 7 has scored four goals and provided two assists in nine Premier League starts so far this season.
