Manchester United will turn to Kieran Tierney if they can’t sign Alex Sandro – so Celtic will hope Juventus lower their £61m asking price.

Celtic will be hoping that Juventus are open to to negotiating their asking price for Alex Sandro – which currently stands at around £61m.
Not because the Glasgow outfit are looking to sign the Brazilian themselves, but because that will keep Manchester United away from their prized asset, Kieran Tierney.

According to the Daily Record, Sandro is currently the Red Devils’ top transfer target at left-back as manager Jose Mourinho looks to shake up his squad this summer, but the Premier League club are not prepared to pay such a high fee for the 27-year-old.
That has seen them instead turn their attention to Tierney, who has long been on their radar ever since breaking into the Hoops first team as a teenager.

It is thought that the 20-year-old would cost somewhere in the region of £20m, making the Scotland international a much cheaper option than Sandro.
However, with Tierney being arguably the most exciting prospect currently playing his football at Parkhead, the Scottish Premiership champions will hope that United can come to an agreement with Juve concerning their Brazil international.
