Brendan Rodgers Celtic side are believed to be looking to make some quality additions during the summer transfer window.

According to the Chronicle, Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez is looking for a route out of St. Mary’s.
Rodriguez has already been offered to Newcastle United by his representatives, with the 27-year-old keen to leave the south coast.
And now could be the time for Celtic to move for the forward, who Brendan Rodgers is known to be a fan of.

Rodgers attempted to sign Rodriguez for Liverpool back in 2014 (Daily Mail), after the striker enjoyed the best spell of his career.
Rodriguez had forced his way into an England squad, and scored 15 Premier League goals in the 2013/14 campaign.
However, a cruciate ligament injury halted his progress – and Rodriguez has not been the same player since.
The Saints forward has struggled to break back into the team over the past two campaigns, and now reportedly wants a move.

Rodriguez was once tipped to be a £20 million player, but he is likely to be available for a fraction of that price – and could end up being an excellent addition for Celtic.
Celtic are known to have money to spend this summer, with Rodgers keen to invest in extra quality.
Rodriguez would certainly bring that to Celtic Park, with the striker possessing a great amount of pace and a clinical finish.
Able to play on the wing, or through the middle, Rodriguez would offer the ability to play in any of Celtic’s attacking roles – and if he does want to leave Southampton, Rodgers should be seriously considering making the one-time England international an offer to move to Glasgow.
