The Leeds United youngster has the talent to ultimately become a goalkeeping great at Elland Road.
Shortly after signing a new two-year deal at Elland Road, Leeds United goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell set his sights on adding to his solitary senior appearance to date.
His lack of first-team football is no surprise considering he is still only 19 and very few stoppers make the position their own while still in their teens. However there are exceptions to the rule and Peacock-Farrell could be given a chance if Marco Silvestri leaves this summer.
According to a recent report from the Daily Mail, the Italian ‘keeper could be set for a surprise summer exit with three unnamed clubs in his homeland all circling, and while that would be a blow for new Leeds manager Garry Monk it would also allow him the opportunity to give Peacock-Farrell the chance to prove he is ready.
It would be a bold move; some will even say it would be crazy while others will dismiss it out of hand. But there have been instances of young goalkeepers seizing their chance and proving the doubters wrong.

It was Evans who said the teenager would be playing in the Premier League before long and Leeds fans will be hoping it is with the Whites.
Managers live or die by their decisions and this one may be a step too far too soon for Monk. But if Silvestri is allowed to leave this summer, well, stranger things have happened.
