Does a reported £25million move for Ricardo Pereira from Porto hint whether Claude Puel is staying at Leicester City or not?

Leicester City are allegedly close to completing their first new signing of the summer, with the Telegraph reporting Ricardo Pereira will arrive from Porto in a £25m deal.
Although Pereira has a £33m release clause written into his current contract at the Estadio do Dragao, the Foxes have reportedly secured the Portugal international for less but with additional add-ons supplementing the fee.

Leicester have been searching for some time for adequate competition for Danny Simpson at right-back and appear to have found their man.
Pereira wanted to have his future resolved before joining up with the Portuguese national team ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia and despite being offered a new contract by the reigning Primeira Liga champions, preferred instead to reunite with Claude Puel at the King Power Stadium.
The full-back worked under the Frenchman during the 2015/16 while on loan at Nice, before the 56-year-old made the switch at the end of that season to take charge of Southampton.

Hint that Puel is staying?
As the Leicester Mercury reports, speculation about the City boss being sacked has been ongoing for some time and yet despite the 2017/18 campaign finishing on Sunday (May 13) no move has been made to dismiss him.
Puel is clearly a key reason why Pereira has decided to come to Leicester and has presumably been involved in the negotiations in some part, so is this a clue the former Monaco, Lille and Lyon chief is staying put?
