Areas in need of attention?
Despite already agreeing a deal for Matip, a new centre-back may be required, depending on the length of Sakho’s ban and whether Toure is released. Klopp is also being tipped to add to his engine room, with Allen linked with a return to Swansea and Lucas also entering the final year of his deal, while a new striker could replace the out-of-favour Benteke.
Most Reds fans would have a new goalkeeper at the top of their lists, though talk appears to have died down of late. Left-back and wide midfield areas could be added to, but wholesale changes are unlikely. Klopp may, however, wish to streamline his squad and develop a few youngsters.
