Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Hull City, Manchester City and Stoke City all feature.
The Christmas and New Year period is one of the busiest times of the season in the Premier League.
We’ve taken a look at some of the winners over the last seven days.
Southampton
Southampton were enduring a difficult run of form as Boxing Day approached but wins against Crystal Palace and Arsenal, as well as a point away at Chelsea helped them claw themselves back into the Champions League places.
Tottenham Hotspur
Seven points from a possible nine is a tally that Mauricio Pochettino would have taken before Christmas. A difficult win away at Leicester, a gutsy point against Manchester United and then that 5-3 victory over Chelsea yesterday.
Hull City
Hull were under huge pressure going into the festive period. Camped in the bottom three, their victories against Sunderland and Everton have allowed them to climb to 15th in the table.
Manchester City
Seven points from a possible nine and not playing their best football, but City are now joint leaders in the Premier League. Their odds to retain the title have shortened and Chelsea are only in first place because of alphabetical order.
Stoke City
Stoke are very nearly in the top half of the table. Wins against Everton and West Brom were backed up by a positive performance against Manchester United, though they couldn’t defend a 1-0 lead in that game.
