West Brom, Manchester City, Liverpool, Leicester City, Aston Villa and Chelsea stars all feature.

The Premier League produced some interesting results at the top and bottom of the table over the weekend.

Arsenal were held by Spurs, Chelsea strolled on and Manchester United held out for a win against West Ham playing with ten men after Wayne Rooney had been sent off during the game.

We’ve taken a look at the best performers in several key areas of the stats.

Saido Berahino was simply too good for Burnley yesterday as West Brom’s upturn in results and form continues. Edin Dzeko also deserves a mention for playing well at Hull City and allowing the champions to gain points over some rivals in the title race.

Brendan Rodgers won’t be pleased with the conversion rate of Mario Balotelli who had the highest number of efforts on goal over the weekend. Had he found the back of the net then it would have made the difference against Everton.

Danny Drinkwater won more tackles than any other player over the weekend. He got stuck in and broke up the play frequently against Crystal Palace. It’s just a shame that his efforts weren’t matched with a positive result for the Foxes following their victory against Manchester United.

Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph continued his good form for the club in a difficult game at Chelsea. He picked the ball up, ran at the Chelsea defence and tried to be the difference in an attacking sense outperforming apparently more talented attacking players in terms of dribbles won.

It won’t surprise many to see Cesc Fabregas at the top of this list. The Spaniard has been superb since he joined the club over the summer. He offers real control and protection of possession in the middle of the Chelsea team which allows them to build pressure.
