Who were the best Championship midfielders in September? Judge, Hughes and more

Middlesbrough, Blackburn Rovers, Brentford, Bournemouth, Birmingham City, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest and Derby County stars all feature.

The midfielders are arguably the most important players in any side in any division because they have to cover defensive and attacking elements to the game, build attacks and break down the opposition.

The Championship provided a platform for some standout midfield performances last month and we’ve taken a look at who came out on top in several key areas of the stats.
