Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been drooling over Dilan Markanday after his performance for the U23s on Monday.
Markanday netted a hat-trick against Leeds United’s youth side on Monday, and if you’ve been following the PL2 over the past 12 months, you’ll know that’s no easy feat.
Indeed, Mark Jackson’s Leeds team have been amongst the best youth sides in the country over the past year or so, and Markanday tore them apart.
As you can imagine, a hat-trick at this level caught the eye of some Spurs supporters, and they’re very excited about the prospect of the winger breaking into the first-team.
The 20-year-old now has four goals in two PL2 appearances this term, and if he carries on like this, it may not be long before we see him handed a few first-team opportunities.
