Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to Fabrizio Romano claiming that Emile Smith Rowe is ready to ‘sign a new contract’.
The Italian journalist has claimed on Twitter that Smith Rowe will pen down a new contract with the Gunners until 2026.
It hasn’t been the best of starts to the summer transfer window for Arsenal after they lost out to the signing of Emi Buendia to Aston Villa.
But finally, the Arsenal faithful are glad to hear some good news that they are keeping one of their top talents.
Rumours were even surfacing from the Telegraph that Villa were interested in signing Smith Rowe, but with their Buendia capture and the Arsenal star now seemingly penning down his future at his boyhood club, that can be put to one side.
After the season, and start to the summer, Arsenal fans have had then they will be hoping that this is the start of a positive transfer window.
Smith Rowe was one of Arsenal’s standout performers during the recently concluded campaign, and with the senior stars at the Emirates not pulling up trees, it’s the youngsters who are providing light at the end of the tunnel.
A lot is still being made about Arsenal needing more creative talent, but one thing is for sure, they have it in bucket loads with Smith Rowe.
