Arsenal fans have been keen to know more about Manchester City’s games in hand after Wednesday’s 4-1 defeat.
The Gunners have lost their grip on the Premier League title race after four games without a win.
Mikel Arteta’s side now sit just two points ahead of Manchester City having played two games more than the Citizens, but who are those two games in hand against? Let’s take a look…
Manchester City’s games in hand
Well, it certainly isn’t over just yet for Arsenal.
Manchester City face Brighton in one of their two games in hand over the Gunners, a side who Pep Guardiola has already labelled the best on the planet when it comes to buildup play.
The Citizens also face West Ham in their other game in hand, which seems like a simple game given the fact the east Londoners sit 14th in the Premier League – five points above the relegation zone.
However, the Hammers have players who can hurt Manchester City, such as Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Declan Rice.

Manchester City go up against Fulham, Leeds, Everton, Chelsea and Brentford in their other remaining Premier League fixtures.
So, why should Arsenal have any hope?
Well, as the Citizens attempt to win the treble, their involvement in the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup means they will be playing two times a week for the remainder of the campaign.
Of course, Guardiola has a squad large enough to deal with that fixture congestion, but it will certainly be interesting to see if Manchester City can juggle three competitions at this stage of the season.
Furthermore, the amount of games Manchester City must contend with also increases the chances of injuries occurring to key players, which could have a huge impact on the Premier League title race.
You only need to look at how Arsenal have struggled since losing William Saliba to see how one absence can completely change a side.
As we approach the business end to the campaign, we have an enthralling title race on our hands – to say the least.
