Rangers are reportedly keen on bringing Vassilis Lambropoulos to Ibrox.

Rangers brought in four centre backs over the summer, but Steven Gerrard may still be in the market for another one come January.
Connor Goldson, Nikola Katic, Joe Worrall and Gareth McAuley all came in, but Katic is woefully out of form, Worrall is only on loan from Nottingham Forest and ageing McAuley is out of contract in the summer.
Now, SDNA in Greece report that Rangers have an interest in signing AEK Athens defender Vassilis Lambropoulos in January, with a deal being discussed.
Rangers fans may not be too familiar with Lambropoulos, so here are five things to know about Gerrard’s latest target…
1. Lambropoulos is 28 and stands at 6ft 1in tall, and came up through the Olympiakos ranks but made just one appearance for them.
2. The defender moved on to Asteras Tripolis, Ethnikos Asteras and Panionios, Lambropoulos made a move to AEK Athens in 2014, emerging as something of a late bloomer.

3. Lambropoulos earned his first cap for Greece earlier this year, and now has two to his name as he continues to impress.
4. Lambropoulos helped crush Celtic’s Champions League dream over the summer, picking up an assist as AEK dumped the Bhoys out of the qualifiers for Europe’s premier club competition.
5. Out of contract in the summer, Lambropoulos has become embroiled in a fractious row with AEK owner Dimitris Melissanidis, who is furious that he won’t sign a new deal and wants him to leave in January – potentially ideal for Rangers.
