Babic is reportedly interesting Celtic, along with several other top European clubs.

Celtic have been credited with interest in the Red Star Belgrade centre-back, Srdjan Babic, by CNN Turkey.
But what should those of a Bhoys persuasion know about Babic?
HITC Sport has the lowdown…
What sort of defender is he?
A six-foot-four-inch centre-back who is usually found on the left of the two centre-backs, reflecting his strongest foot. He’s comfortable on ball, although you wouldn’t put him down as a footballing defender, but not especially quick.
Who could he replace at Celtic?
With Dederyck Boyata out of contract and Filip Benkovic due back at Leicester City, Babic would likely find himself vying with Kristoffer Ajer for a place alongside Jozo Simunovic next season.

Where’s he from?
Born in Bosnia, Babic moved to Serbia to join the academy of FK Vojvodina at the age of 15. Now 22, he has won caps for the latter nation at various levels up to and including under-21, and was an U20 World Cup winner in 2015.
Where else has he played?
Real Sociedad took Babic from Serbia to the Basque Country shortly after that World Cup success. However, he failed to make an appearance above B-team level and was loaned out to Reus before returning home with Red Star, who paid around £700,000 for the privilege. Babic won a cup with Vojvodina and the league with his current employers.

Would Celtic face competition to sign him?
CNN Turkey claims Besiktas, Monaco, Nice and Feyenoord are also keen on Babic, who is now valued at around double that amount, according to Transfermarkt. With two years left on his contract, Red Star could be tempted into selling this summer.
Would Babic be a good addition for Celtic?
