For a club as well supported as Leeds United, social media is a big thing for fans of the club, as they can connect with their heroes and keep up to date with news surrounding their club.
However, as is the case with most clubs, Leeds players are generally quite restrictive on social media – barring the odd Snapchat story and tweet, there’s nothing majorly insightful to be revealed.
However, there are still exceptions, and one exception in particular has found herself top of the pile when it comes to who wins at social media around Leeds United – and that Kyle Bartley’s mum, Maria.
Kyle’s good form has seen hundreds of Leeds fans flock to Maria’s account to tweet her well wishes and the like, and it seems as if she’s been converted into a full on Leeds fan, taking the club with her wherever she goes.
In fact, she’s been taken in by Leeds fans almost as much as her son has – acquiring many an admirer along the way.
And despite Bartley helping take Leeds off the ground, his mum knows how to bring him back down to earth in good-hearted nature.
