Leeds United sacked Thomas Christiansen on Sunday.
Hannes Wolf is the latest manager to be linked with a move to Leeds United, after seeing his odds cut on Monday.
But who exactly is the 36-year-old seemingly in contention to succeed Thomas Christiansen at Elland Road?

5) He had a low-key playing career…
Turning out for TuS Iserlohn, 1. FC Nürnberg’s second string, Schwarz-Weiß Essen, SG Eintracht Ergste and ASC 09 Dortmund. He later managed SG Eintracht Ergste and ASC 09 Dortmund.
4) He preceded Leeds’ rivals’ boss at *the other* Dortmund
Before the now Huddersfield Town manager, David Wagner, got the gig, Wolf spent 15 games in charge of Dortmund’s second string. The pair would later become colleagues, with the latter later taking charge of the Bundesliga giants’ under-17 and under-19 teams.
3) He succeeded another of Leeds’ rivals’ bosses at Stuttgart
Following the resignation of Jos Luhukay – now Sheffield Wednesday’s manager – after alleged conflicts with chairman Jan Schindelmeiser 18 months ago, it was Wolf who was sworn in to oversee Stuttgart’s promotion charge.
2) And he led them back to the Bundesliga…
Stuttgart were eighth when Luhukay left, but went on to win the second tier title – by a margin of two points – eight months later.
1) He couldn’t kick them on, however…
And was sacked with Stuttgart 14th in an 18-team league. Wolf was succeeded by the former Bayer Leverkusen boss Tayfun Korkut.
