The obvious answer is that Ethan Mbappe is indeed Kylian Mbappe’s younger brother.

A central midfielder by trade, he joined the Paris Saint-Germain academy in 2017, signing a 3-year contract with the club last year (The Sun).

Unlike the World Cup winner who operates out wide and up front, young Ethan can play both as an attacking midfielder and in a deeper position in the middle of the park.

Also, the teenager is left-footed, unlike Kylian Mbappe as well.

Before joining PSG, the youngster operated at AS Bondy, his local team, following in his older siblings, Kylian Mbappe and his adopted brother, Jires Kembo-Ekoko’s footsteps.

That answers the crux of who is Ethan Mbappe.

Has young Ethan ever played with Kylian Mbappe?

In a video posted on Friday by Paris Saint-Germain via Twitter, Ethan and Kylian were indeed seen training alongside each other in the first-team.

However, the pair are yet to play together at senior level yet.

Soon, who is Ethan Mbappe will only be a question on fans’ minds living under a rock, after he starts to share the pitch with his superstar brother.

Has he ever made a senior appearance for PSG?

The answer is yes.

However, it was in a friendly.

The wonderkid came off the bench to replace Fabian Ruiz as Paris Saint-Germain beat Paris FC 2-1.

The contest took place as recently as in December, as Christophe Galtier’s side were preparing for the return of club football after the end of the World Cup.
