Tommy Fleetwood walked away with more than just his first PGA Tour victory after finishing top of the leaderboard at the Tour Championship.
The Briton is well-liked among players and fans alike, and there was plenty of support for him following the result at East Lake.
He finished three shots clear of Russell Henley and Patrick Cantlay, picking up his first PGA Tour win along with a $10 million prize.
That money made a huge difference to Fleetwood’s ranking among top earners this season.

With the Playoffs wrapped up, all three winners have landed spots among the top 10 earners on the PGA Tour this season.
Scheffler leads the way with $26,579,550, while Fleetwood has climbed six places to second with $18,496,238.
On the other hand, Rory McIlroy has slipped one spot to third after the Tour Championship. The Masters champion sits on $16,992,418 for the season.

Scottie Scheffler dominates PGA Tour money list since 2021
The 2025 PGA Tour season is far from over, with the Procore Championship next up on the calendar.
That event will be followed by the Sanderson Farms Championship, which is set to take place in early October.
Between those two tournaments, though, all eyes will turn to the Ryder Cup.

This year’s edition will see both PGA Tour and LIV Golf players involved as Team USA faces off against Europe at Bethpage Black.
