Whites star Pablo Hernandez sat down with LUTV for an exclusive interview, and opened up on the relationship he shares with his famous brother-in-law and recent US Masters champion Sergio Garcia, sharing how the Spaniard follows Leeds United.
The 32-year-old attacking midfielder is married to Garcia’s sister, and the pair share a close relationship, with their involvement in high level sport being something they can both relate to.
The former Swansea City man enjoyed a superb weekend, with his side winning 3-0 against Preston North-End – a game in which he scored a goal.
And with Garcia winning the Masters, along with Hernandez celebrating his 32nd birthday yesterday, things couldn’t get much better for the Spaniard.
And he told LUTV how his famous brother-in-law follows Leeds, whilst suggesting he could come and watch a game one day:

“The fans should know Sergio follows a lot of Leeds United and now we just need the club to reach the Premier League and it will be a perfect year for us. Maybe we will see him at Elland Road, I hope this will happen, he told me a while ago if he had a chance he will come and watch a game, so it is possible.”
The West Yorkshire outfit currently sit in fifth position in the Championship table, with a five point advantage over seventh placed Fulham, and with just five games remaining, Garry Monk’s men look to be in a very strong position from which to gain promotion to the Premier League.
And if they achieve that feat, there might be a green jacket jacket amongst the crowd at Elland Road next term.
