Tottenham are likely to be active in the January transfer window.
The January transfer window gives Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino the opportunity to strengthen his squad and it will be interesting to see which players, if any, arrive at the club this month.
Which position, though, is most in need of strengthening for Tottenham?
Tottenham have a strong squad, but it has been evident this season that they have struggled in midfield as they have been overrun on several occasions.

The return from injury of Victor Wanyama should help, in part, to address that issue, but Tottenham could certainly do with bringing in another central midfielder as a possible replacement for Mousa Dembele, who has been unable to make much of an impact this season.
Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia has been linked with Tottenham as a possible Dembele replacement, as reported by The Sun.

Kondogbia is a very talented player and, although it may take him a little while to adapt to English football, he would be a suitable replacement for Dembele in terms of providing Tottenham’s defence with the requisite protection and also helping them to retain possession more effectively, which would benefit Pochettino’s team immensely.
