Having conceded a disappointing last gasp equaliser against Middlesbrough at the weekend, a large portion of Manchester City’s squad have now joined up with their national teams ahead of the latest World Cup qualifiers and friendlies, several of which are available to watch in the UK.

England v Scotland is the big one on Friday evening, with the Three Lions looking to stretch their lead at the top of Group F.

Looking to help them do just that are City duo John Stones and Raheem Sterling, both of whom are in Gareth Southgate’s squad. The match at Wembley begins at 7.45pm and is live on ITV1.

Elsewhere on Friday, Ilkay Gundogan is part of the Germany squad heading to San Marino looking to avoid what would surely be the biggest upset in international football history. Those wishing to see the City midfielder in action can do so by tuning in to Sky Sports Mix at 7.45pm.

On Saturday evening, Aleksandar Kolarov will be in action for Serbia against Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium. The City left-back could be in for a tough evening against Gareth Bale down the wing, and you can see how he gets on by tuning into Sky Sports 1 at 7.45pm.

Available through the red button on Sky Sports 1 at the same time is Spain’s match with Macedonia, which could feature both David Silva and Nolito. Spain are tied with Italy at the top of Group G, so need a win to remain on top of the pile.

The weekend of internationals draws to a close on Sunday evening, where Vincent Kompany and Kevin De Bruyne will be hoping to inspire Belgium to a win over Estonia in Brussels. That match is live on Sky Sports 1 and begins at 7.45pm.

There is also a big City involvement in the crunch clash between Brazil and Argentina, which begins at 12.45am on Friday morning but is sadly not being televised in the UK.

Sergio Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta and Nicolas Otamendi are all in the Argentina squad and will come up against their club mate Fernandinho, who has been selected by the hosts.

Also in South America, goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is likely to captain Chile in their match against Colombia (Thursday, 8.30pm, not televised), while over in Africa Kelechi Iheanacho is in the Nigeria squad for their clash with Algeria (Saturday, 4pm, not televised).
