Eden Hazard has weighed in on one of football’s favourite debates by naming his personal Mount Rushmore of Chelsea players, selecting four figures he believes best represent the club’s modern history.

The former Blues star spent seven seasons at Stamford Bridge and played alongside, or followed in the footsteps of, many of the club’s greatest names.

When asked to choose just four, Hazard did not hesitate, combining leadership, legacy, and personal confidence in his selection.

Eden Hazard names his Mount Rushmore of Chelsea greats

Speaking in a video shared on social media via Instagram, Hazard was asked to pick the four players he would place on Chelsea’s Mount Rushmore.

“JT [John Terry]. Captain, you know, the leader. [Didier] Drogba. King, you know, has to be there, Frank Lampard, top scorer, and myself. Good group of 4, no?” Hazard said.

The list includes three figures widely regarded as foundational to Chelsea’s rise during the Premier League era.

John Terry captained the club through its most successful period, Didier Drogba delivered decisive moments on the biggest stages, and Frank Lampard remains Chelsea’s all-time leading goalscorer.

Eden Hazard deserves a place among Chelsea legends

Hazard’s inclusion of himself reflects the impact he had during his time in West London.

Across his Chelsea career, Hazard won multiple Premier League titles and individual awards, becoming the focal point of the team’s attack.

He was twice named PFA Players’ Player of the Year and consistently delivered in decisive matches, particularly during title-winning campaigns.

While his final seasons in football were affected by injury, Hazard’s Chelsea legacy remains defined by creativity, consistency, and match-winning influence.

By placing himself alongside Terry, Drogba, and Lampard, Hazard positioned his contribution within the club’s most decorated era.

Whether supporters agree with every detail or not, the selection reflects how Hazard views his own place in Chelsea history.
